Ther has been talk that the 4A-GZEs are getting more difficult to find.

There are several JDM importers that have engines on E-Bay, you might want to look there.

The folks I would suggest you talk to, as far as finding a dependable importer, would be Pheonixtuning.com, and BackYardProductions of Miami. Both these shops specialise in Toyota engine swaps and modifications.

Dr. Tweak, of pheonix tuning is on the Tercel forum sometimes, and also builds wire harnesses for engine swaps.

Check them out. They're in Sterling, VA. I notice your location is VA, as well.

I had contacted them about 4AGZE's, however they said they were never able to get one in almost a year now. They do have Black and Silver 20 Valves stock piled including the Black 20V w/ 6spd.

I got my silvertop from JEI (like SCT suggested) and it came with an uncut harness, transmission, and ECU for $850

Don't buy it without the harness, ecu, etc... buy it complete or don't buy it, otherwise you'll be stuck looking around for these parts which are hard to find.

I plan on getting the one from JEI 500 more and its 100% there the one I found from Makoto Engines is just a block and head no Atl, power steering pump no AC the harness is cut and ECU not there so i would spend about the same or more hunting for those as I would getting the JEI motor. even a blind man can see the better deal in that one

let me know if you don't want a transmission, if you buy the 6-speed blacktop I'll buy the 6-speed from you.
