(optional) well right now im running stock 13" steelies and im kinda over them. I was gonna grab a set of black chome lip rims from a local place for $440, but tuition is due soon, and i also have to by adobe suite cs4 (photoshop and other programs which is normally 1,000 bucks but i can get it for 215 thru school) so my cash is practically spent.
VV vv
so i wan't different rims (they can be stock of another car or maker), whats a good way to get some new wheels for cheap around 200 preferably 15 inch and brand name isn't important ( i don't care if other guys know that i have giovanni rims or BBS rims)
thanks

first I would look in used sections of forums, you can find some decent cheap rims for sale. Or you could just go to a junkyard or even craigslist. Any 4x100 wheel will fit a corolla (it has the smallest center bore that I know of) you just have to make sure the offset is right which can be tricky. civic rims fit, I'm pretty sure miata rims should fit too. Just keep on looking around until you find a good deal

I saw in Puerto Rico this summer alot of cars on the 99-00 Civic Si rims...i saw tercels, corollas, civics, mirages, anything really. the rims are really nice. Some I could tell were knock offs, but still looked good. Look used on craigslist in your area.
eBay has new Drags for 375 shipped though so thats a little too steep.
LS mesh integra wheels fit. You'd need a small spacer in the back for them to clear depending on your tire size.
When painted, they scream "honda!" just a little less, I still didn't like owning those though...
Definitely check through your local craigslist, I just picked up a pretty good set R1s(maybe? thats what the last remaining center cap said, but all I know is that they're 15x6.5, rather light, 6 spoke black wheels) locally for my celica for $120 with two good tires.
pardon my noob, but what dimensions and lug nut pattern am i looking for , i want 15's but i don't wan't to pick up a set that won't work... thanks
you want 4x100. the max I would go is 15x7. and you'll want between a +35 to possibly a +42 offset (it may require spacers on the back or you might have to run 195s with +42s, I'm not sure, test fit them and see)

you're not serious are you? I'm pretty sure we've had a million discussions about wheels on the forum, I'm surprised this info is not on everyone's mind by now.
+40 offset max I would say... I'm pretty sure it would rub if you go with 15x7 with 42mm offset, maybe they would work in a 6.5inch width, but not on a 7inch width.
Your best bet is to look for used wheels, if you're not sure if they will fit TEST FIT the rears as this where most of the rubbing goes on.
Mine are 15X6.5, 38mm offset, 205/50 tires and I need spacers to clear my rear coil-overs.
I would suggest getting closer to 35mm offset, ofcourse depending on what width rim you get.

yeah, my 15x7 +35 with 205s rubbed the sidewall against my stock strut a little bit. I ended up putting 10mm spacers on the rear to line them up with the front wheels. but I could have just gone with 195s and been fine.

It depends on the brand. All 205s are not actually the same width. I have found that sometimes two tires of the same specifications from different manufacturers will have different tread or sidewall widths.
For example, Falkens usually have a wider tread than Michelins.
