ae92 gts strut tower question

i recently baught an oem ae92 gts strut towerbar.

will it still perform on my sedan if i dont bolt it up to my firewall??

i dont have access to a drill so yeah.

It would still perform, but it would perform like a typical two-point strut tower bar. The factory three-point strut tower bar would make your front end more rigid since the third point is the firewall which doesn't flex.

Get someone to drill it for you, I think the holes are there or at least the layout anyways.

It would not perform anywhere close to a 2 point bar because it is much weaker in the middle. When you had it out, didn't you notice that you could bend it easily with your own strength. You'll need to bolt it to the firewall to get any benifit out of it.

bro, did you got your strutbar from the local junkyard? how much it cost you?
i'm planning to get one for my ae92 sedan also but i'm not sure what kind of bolts to used for the firewall..
