DIY REBUILT YOU automatic trans

Hi people. a year ago I had a tranny problem. all the gear were drive. So I decided to rebuilt it myself. I open it up and it were the clutches that were stcking together and burned also. here is a guide on how to do it yourself.

dismount in order, put every part you take out in a nice place so when you gona put everything back together u got the guide and do the inverser on what u take out.

When replacing the clutches, soak each clutch 1st in tranny oil then put then one by one. when your about to close the tranny, trow about half a quart of tranny oil inside then close it. if you want to go safe you should change all the bearing.

when putting back the valve body, make sure you put a washer that conect from the tranny to the valve body cause if u dont, you are not gona have reverse.

in the diagram # 593 these are the reverse clutches. it goes metal/clutch/metal/clutch/metal/clutch/metal (this is the way I did it and works fine.)

OR

you could put metal/clutch/metal/metal/clutch/metal I heard it works like this also but I perfer 3 clutches.

With this guide you can aldo rebuilt the deferential which is real common problem on these cars. just make sure u put a new seal inside.
people think the tranny oil mix with the diferential, which is wrong, it has its own oil.
