I'd say try using a small, good needle nose pliers. Or, put a small, small SMALL dab of crazy glue on the broken end of the key, put it in the ign cylinder so it butts up, let it dry for some time, see what happens.

Or you can replace the cylinder all together which would mean you'll get a new key, like it or not.

I had to replace my ignition cylinder a few weeks ago. Yeah I got a new key which sucks, one for ignition and one for doors/trunk now. But it wasn't that hard to do, only took like 20 mins, mostly just figuring out what to do. It's mostly visual of how it works, but it's pretty simple to install.

There's a little button thing underneath that pushes in only when the key is turned to a certain point... you just gotta line up the little metal tab thing on the end of the cylinder... it's hard to explain, but you'll see what I mean if you end up doing it.

My local locksmith told me he can rebuild a Toyota ignition lock for about 20 bucks, and keep the same key you had. So, if you haven't destroyed it, just remove the whole works and take it to a locksmith.
