gas tank for silvertop

hey just woundering if i can use the gas tank and fuel pump from a 1999 toyota corolla and put it in a 1988 corolla sr5 with silvertop. i know my best set is just get the gts fuel pump and gas tank. but im on a budget and i cant find any in the junk yards or being parted out online. there is this guy parting out his 99 corolla and he will sell me the pump and tank for 50 bucks. i would just get the fuel pump and tank new but there kinda pricey and its hard to save do to this thing called life. lol well let me know the car is ready for new tank to go in after that i just need it to be wired. cant wait.

What you need is the complete tank from any '88-91 GT-S. Those will have the electric fuel pump.
The Coupe tank is a little different to the sedan, and the different generations aren't interchangable.

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!

a tank from an 90-91 SR5 (4AFE version) will also work, that's what I'm planning on using.

you should also swap lines..... the lines for the carb tank might be low pressure....
