Need help identifying a part.

I have been trying to id this part for my sister's 90 Corolla DX. It screws into the bottom of the radiator and has two wires connecting to it. The radiator was replaced this past week. When removing this part from the old radiator it broke. The engine has been swapped out and I don't know what it is. Please help.

I believe it's a temperature sending unit that tells the fan when to kick on.
Here's a parts data base link. Fill in the info and it may help you identify the part and give you a cost.

Thanks for the link. It looks like the part I'm looking for is 90080-91028 but it does not say what it is. I have compared a coolant temperature senor and the threads are a smaller size. The temperature sender and radiator fan switch have the correct size thread but they only have one wire connector.

It is a overheat switch for the A/C. If the temp gets over 385F (hot) it kicks off the compressor. When I replaced my radiator the new rad was not deep enough to allow the sensor to screw in. I have wire tied it to the rad hose for now. If you ever get over 385F you have other more pressing problems. BTW it has nothing to do with the fan itself. That is located by the thermostat.
