AE92 strut work & tranny leak?

Hey everyone, I have a few questions.
I'm working on my struts right now and when I took the brake line off the rotor it pretty much bled all the fluid. Is this normal?

Also it's leaked out all of the tranny fluid. I tightened all the bolts on the pan but is there some other common leak points on these?

Thank you,

Kroof.

PS- I'll probably have more questions as progress proceeds lol..

thnx

You took the brakeline of the calipers you mean? Sure it's normal that all the fluid runs out of it when you disconnect it.
Thats why most people leave them hooked up to the calipers or clamp the flexible line when working on the hub or struts.

About the tranny. Is it possible that while working on the struts you pulled on the axle? If you pull it out to much, the oil inside will leak out through the axle hole.
