GT-S shocks

Ok, so I just got my GT-S shocks in the mail for my koni yellow inserts (thanks jmaz!) and the rears look like I thought they would, but the fronts look different. So... I'm thinking the GT-S I got these from has had the front struts replaced

here are pictures of the rears, and then 2 of the fronts. What do you guys that have replaced a cartridge on your GT-Ss think?

I'm pretty sure the "Do not heat or open" and the "made in USA" are pretty good signs that they're not the stock struts...

Nope, doesn't look like servicable struts to me. The top should be able to screw off where the shaft enters the body. (for the fronts. the rears look as expected)

Those are indeed not the original shocks.
But can you still srew te top off, o are the sealed? can't really tell from the picture.

If the diameter of the shock is the same, maybe you can still use them

If you need a little guideline:

Bottom of the page!

Greets from the country where your shocks came from

awesome, that it a sweet page, and google translator almost makes it readable

luckily I went to the junkyard today and the GT-S from a couple weeks past was still there and the front end was off the ground so I just took it's front shocks and they're definitely the right kind

yeah, my springs came from the Netherlands too so hopefully they'll go well together lol.
