How to remove the radio?

How do you remove the radio in these cars? Going to replace it so need to know.

Do i need to remove the dash?

You unscrew the screws around the speedometer that are in the dash and above the radio. That little black trim you just begin to pull out and then you can unscrew the radio out. That's a vague description but I haven't messed with my radio in a while.

first, do you have a sedan or a coupe? the stereos are in different places.

macst19 has it down. there are 4, maybe 5 (been awhile too, lol) screws on the top of the black trim piece that face down. after you unscrew those you will be able to wiggle the black trim piece out of the way

you may have to unplug the hazard switch and the clock but they are pretty self explanitory.. they just unclip.

after that there will be 4 screws holding in the radio.. after you unscrew those you just pull out the radio, unplug the radio harness and it will be out.

takes awhile your first time but once you have it out a few times it takes a couple minutes
