92 Corolla Jumped Backwards

My corolla was jumped with the cables on backwards, after replacing the blown 100 amp alt fuse, the engine will now turn over but not start, we have tried alot of things but cannot make it start. Any ideas on what it could be? We charged the battery up over night and so now it doesnt need a jumper box to turn over.

Worst case scenario, your ECU is fried.

Removing the ECU is quite simple...

Remove the kick panel from the center console on both sides. Then you should see the ECU. Remove the two hold down bolts, unplug, remove.

Have you verified if you are getting fuel or ignition? Have you tried using starting fluid to confirm fuel injection is working? Could have blown fuel injection fuse. Check all fuses in black box under hood and then check each item in ignition ( coil, ignitor etc) till you find culprit. Consult service manual for how to check them.
