Here's what I did with my motor mounts. Since the front one had completely broken out of the metal housing, I figured it was a good thing to try. I made the molds out of acrylic on a laser cutter so you might have to be more creative if you don't have access to one. Cardboard should work as long as you seal it up good enough and don't care about it sticking.
I thought I had a pic of the front motor mount without the mold but I guess not. It was the best looking one.
Sorry, haven't installed them yet. I have another 4AGE that I'm refreshing and then I'm going to swap that in. I'll put in the mounts at that time. I still have the transmission mount to do also. I'll post more pics of that when I do it.
I hope you have a high tolerence for interior NVH, because those will make your car rattle like crazy at idle.
I put polyurethane mount inserts on my MR2 Turbo and the increased vibration wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe. Solid-filled mounts might be worse, though.

Anyways, let us know how they turn out.
Yes, I am somewhat worried about that. However the 60A compound is softer than polyurethane that you find in aftermarket mounts so hopefully it will be livable. Also the original rubber is still intact, so it's not completely made of urethane.
