Cruise Computer

Does anyone know where the cruise control computer is located on a '91 coupe? It's just about the last thing I haven't looked at in my quest to get the cruise working. All 3 vacuum items seem to work (pump, switch, and actuator), the switches on brake and clutch work, dash switch shows green. Still haven't checked the steering column switch. Is the computer buried in the center dash area? Thanks, Bill

If you find out the problem post the issue as I've got the same problem now and haven't had the time to trace back all the wires in the system.

Anyone know if the cruise ECUs are different between standard and auto cars? Part #s I've only been able to find replacement cruise ecu's from auto cars thus far.

Wish I would have read your post when I had the damn thing out. I coulda got a part # off it. My wiring diagram doesn't show any difference between manual and auto, although actual wiring and switches are different for coupes and sedans. I believe I read somewhere that if the cruise light is on steady, the computer is good, and if it flashes, it's got a problem. Wish I had a factory service manual. If I can fix the thing, I'll definitely post my results.
