Noob Steel Rims help

Sorry i am a total noob when it comes to steel rims.
i have searched the forums, but since i am not good with numbers i took
some pics.

My questions is will these rims work on my car?

Last winter i mounted my winter tires on to the oem AE92 GT-S Rims.

Car:'88 Corolla GT-S

Instead of taking of the all season tires, and mounting on the winter tires i decided to try and buy some steel rims.

The snow tires i am running are 185-60R-14,the same size as the factory tire specs.

I got the steel rims at cdn tire.

My biggest concern right now is the lug nuts, i have taken pics.

Steel rims specs:

14x5.5
4-100
+38mm offset
59.5mm centre

Photos can be found at http://www3.telus.net/public/jbarredo/

Any help, comments would be greatly appreciated.

So what's the concern? I'm not sure what you're asking here...

I have had steel wheels on my GTS before and used the OEM lugnuts without problems, my only concern was that they stuck out so much since the OEM GTS wheels actually cover them better.

You could always buy the 12x1.5 lugnuts from Canadian tire, the flat ones that look more like a regular nut.

I tried canadian tire for the lug nuts when I had the steel rims on my car, They didn't have them, just went to toyota and bought the steel rim lug nuts from them and everything was fine. I don't know if the gts and sr4 lugs are all that different, but the ones for the sr5 are long as all hell because they sit inside the holes on the alloy rims, on top of that they don't hold the steel rims quite right since the steel lugs are tapered to sit in the steel rim holes.

same as the GTS, they're long.

CT has them, you have to look for the 12x1.5 thread pitch lugs.

no idea, just know I asked them for them, they typed it in and said they didn't have them. Went to toyota and they had piles of them in stock and they were cheap.

Well i decided to buy new lug nuts today at Toyota. I was able to get the tires installed on the steel rims, and on my car on Friday.

It snowed on Saturday, so i was able to test out the tires in snow.. Last winter i had the tires mounted on the factory oem rims. So i could tell the difference of having the winter tires mounted on the steelies.

Thanks for the help!!

What's "cheap" in Toyota speak?

borla.yaris good to hear you got it all figured out, good luck I hear Calgary is getting snow up the a-hole.

I've found that most basic steel parts from toyota are dirt cheap. Meanwhile the battery tray is $50 for a used one lol. They were cheap enough that I don't recall how much I paid, just remember I wasn't upset about it lol.
