but still, all the air you're trying to force THROUGH the radiator is just going to be going up and past it.

i sealed the hood against the support like the factory seal is designed.

any air going up is gonna hit that seal it has nowhere else to go especially at speed.

I just installed a twin core aluminum radiator in my son's Civic. (like the one jmaz has in his Corolla)
I had the car sitting idling for almost 1/2 hour, then took it on the express way for a few miles. The fan has not come on, nor has the tempreature gauge moved above normal.
That radiator is impressive!!!

i know thats what gets me... i really like the rad it's perfect size/placement for my goals

these days with things cooling down I'm almost having warming issues!!! if i drive really slow it stays 160ish the thermostat doesn't even fully open (definition of an effective system)

maybe my standards are just a bit too high but i thought a few laps on a hot day wasn't gonna be an issue... but i did crack both rear rotors that day... :P


So... after ducting it looks like medium driving still creeps on 190F even in this 'cooler' weather (florida)...

i've been really busy sanding/painting the roof and pillars in case i go to a show in Jacksonville this weekend
