Cooling issues on smaller tracks

I snagged a couple of shots this morning to give u an idea of where i am currently...

i technically could get a complete radiator but i don't like how close it would be to everything heat soak is a major issue especially with my limited cooling ability...

next plan is to start ducting and add a large heater-core under the oil-cooler using the original heater-core plumbing (mine is deleted)

Next i will try brake ducting

Aluminum sheet to block airflow from anywhere else than the radiator...I suspect alot of air is going around the radiator, this you have problems cooling.

Do you have room to put both a pusher and puller electric fan on the front and back of the rad? They sell some pretty slim line fans these days. It would help a lot with some ducting as well.

Is it overheating, or just running warmer than normal?

Are you sure that there isn't some other underlying problem, like maybe a leaking head gasket, or one of the other usual overheating culprits?

Even with that smaller radiator, I believe if your fan is working, you shouldn't have a overheating poblem.

Just playing devil's advocate.

a regular sized radiator should solve the problems as well as shrouded fans.

ok lemme try to be more specific
1. definately needs ducting but how to attack this exactly (other than knowing i need aluminum sheet)

2. Donald i never ever ever have problems unless i'm going full out on a very small track on a very hot day...

in other words right now its about 74F i would have trouble getting it passed 190F but on a hot day it would hit 250 after like 4-5laps... NO FUN!!!

everybody was runnin hot but i'd like to think my setup is more efficient than that...

SO.. i can block off the pass opening pretty easily but whats best way around FMIC and headlights?

so again my car usually runs around 165-190( hot day) and i have a 170F thermostat and

so far just the half radiator but next is the heater core idea with shrouding behind to seperate from engine bay....

other than whats been already mentioned maybe just prop the rear of your hood up with spacers like some people do and removed some of the firewall insulation*i mean the engine bay part at the top where it seals up to the hood* and drive with your heater on

i don't have heat problems atm but those would be things I would consider.

i bet you'd be OK running a smaller intercooler or even 2 side mounts, leaving the front open for the engines cooling.

I am inclined to agree.
I couldn't see the photos before when I was at work, but now that I see them I think that might be at least a part of the problem.

lol then i would need yet another radiator... and weight is very important to me so the less fluids/piping i need the better...

are u guys just saying my stupid big intercooler is blocking the flow to my rad???? just wanna make sure u don't think my fmic is getting hot because it stays ice-cold
i know it blocks some flow but it's so large it should let ample air by but i am concerned about lower speeds (40-60) which is where my car would start heatin up

once i get goin on a good straight it cools down but sometimes there not set up that way...

ANY IDEAS SPECIFICALLY ON DUCTING? anybody try it?

get a full sized radiator and shrouded fans and yes, that huge FMIC is blocking airflow. get a narrower one with the same width. you don't need one that huge! are you sure the cooling fan is coming on? are you sure all air is bled out of the system? etc go over the basics too.

anywhere you see that air can go around it just put a sheet of aluminum there so it can't. Judging from the pictures I would say the right side is pretty bad, it just looks like it's wide open. I would just take a sheet of metal and go from the edge of your radiator to maybe the middle of your intercooler? or maybe a little farther right, your oil cooler probably doesn't need as much air.
