End of an era

Ok, its time to go to greener pastures in the vehicular modification scene.

Corolla will be transformed into a 9-to-5 driver, most likely removing the turbo and going back to complete basics with it.

maybe its to do with age..... naaaaaah!

Why.... because this kind of machine is much more fun...introducing my new project

unfortunately for the newbies, I wont be quitting this forum.

Good to see that you're moving on.

But before you do so, you should do a complete photoshoot and outlining build thread showing your car at it's peak before reverting back to stock.

I for one will be interested in seeing this.

I'm not reverting it to stock, just a milder tune... for 9-5 driving a turbo brings such challenges that take alot from reliability. I've burnt 3 coils within a year for example.

I agree, a full build thread of it's progress. It shows that there are other options than the 4age for these cars... What were you pulling out of it the last I heard, I think it was 190 hp?

i agree with richard you've been gone for almost a year coming.

anyway its a shame but that just makes my car that much more unique! lol! and that sucks about your coils burning but why don't u just go to a lower boost and mild tune?

i run stock electronics no problems up to 10psi for a year now and yes it is my DD for the simple fact that i'm NOT OLD and i can't stand driving my stock rolla for more than 3 miles..

Best of Luck not dying with that motorcycle!!!
