If the tires are the right size, then it shouldn't make a difference. If you look at the tire size, it should be something like 195/50/15, 205/50/15, or even 185/55/15. It should be in there some where.

I'm pretty sure OEM 13's on a Corolla came with 175/70-13s so yeah, 195/50-15s would be the best matched size.

Thanks... just went out and checked... my tires are marked 195-60R15.

This is the tire calculator I used. It seems that 195-50-15 would be the best match to the stock 13 tires.

Edit: having looked at my owner's manual now, it seems I should have 205-50-15 tires on my 15" rims. Unless I'm doing something terribly wrong!

OK, I just pulled out my All-Trac owner's manual. (Buying a house. moving this week, thankfully I labeled my boxes...) Anyways this is what it says in the back (page 270):

All-Trac / 4WD models
Standard tires
165sr13
185/70sr13

Why the different sizes? And no "p" for either one? For the sedans etc listed, on some it says (USA only) next to them...

Standard tires
Sedan
155sr13 (USA only)
p155/80sr13
175/70sr13
p175/70r13 (USA only)

just match up to the 175/70-13s... I'd go with 195/50-15s or even 195/55-15s
