89 Corolla SR5 eating ignition coils

My 89 Corolla SR5 is eating ignition coils.
I had a problem with no spark so had the ignition coil replaced and the car ran great. Few days later I had no spark again and had the coil replaced once again and the same thing happened.

What would you look for now?

Thinking about replacing the whole distributor with a used one if I can find it.
Could be ignitor, Coil, weights, I don't want to spend to much money on this.

Make sure your contacts are clean and secure. A vibrating or intermittent contact have have a devastating effect on electrical or electronic units.

Also be sure the 30A fuselink on the battery is tight (its bolted on) and there's no bad contacts on your ignition switch. That fuselink feeds the distributor and fuel injectors through the ignition switch.
