Alright guys so my ST swap is officially in full swing.. new motor looks good, old one is out. Just cleaned and painted the engine bay and chassis before dropping in the ST.
I've hit a few snags I could use some input/help on pics below the list, thanks in advance to anyone that can offer some insight:
1. Motor/Harness is missing the relay box and ignitor - can I use my 16v set up?
2. Harness is cut in 6 different places, wiring diagrams have helped but I need to be sure of all connections before splicing.
3. Dash plugs are for an electronic dash? - not sure which wires to splice into my existing dash
The whip....lip is photoshop and wheels are actually silver but will be gunmetal.
mmmmmm...
The harness with points that it has been cut...HELP! - detailed shots below with corresponding letters

My wonderful mechanic backed out on me after tearing my car apart, guess I'll be cleaning up his mess AND doing my swap solo, progress pics soon, wish me luck.
Thanks to those of you who have expressed interest in my parts thread, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner I will be running through my inventory this week and messaging everyone that inquired.

That sucks man. Good luck getting everything sorted out. My brother used to have an AE92 like that, used to go hard. The 20v swap should be more than worth it .

More video + photos soon, thx to Dr. Tweak harness was perfect! Still tuning, working out bugs, not sure on a few vacuums from charcoal cannister so if anyone has vacuum diagram resources, thx in advance (mostly regarding fuel returns and the charcoal cannister.) Also wondering how hard this is going to be to pass emmissons, not so worried about visual inspection (no egr, etc.) but how it actually runs on the sniffer test.
I'll be interested to see how it does for emissions. I would think it won't be that much different than a normal 4age. I have historic plates on my corolla (has to be 20 years old in Maryland) so I don't have to take it through emissions anymore.

Thanx for the vacuum thread eage8! Got a few things sorted out today, still running rich and seems to be missing. I thing my cat is shot from all the crap my old 4age was burning before it bit the dust.Probably going to do a down pipe back exhaust tomorrow, I want it to be deep and quiet, any suggestions? Any tuning tips are much appreciated.
Over 3G's deep in this thing I can't wait to get it on the road!

Thanks for this as well, I think I can swing this in my state. How did you qualify as historic? in Utah there are requirements beyond the 20 year requirement, such as street rod/custom status ...
So I found out the dizzy cap was bad, sourced one out of Cabe toyota in California. Put an all new exhaust from the manifold back, with a flanged performance cat, and new muffler.
It's running much better now but still VERY rich. I'm checking the forums now and searching for tuning advice. I know timing is way off and may still have a vacuum leak. I've covered all my bases with replacing the usual culprits on a rich mixture: plugs, filter, O2 sensor, new dizzy + rotor.
I'm wondering about the calibration on the the itb's/ecu being that I'm much higher elevation that sea level. Not sure if it could be a problem but I've heard this may be an issue from a few people.
If anyone has any tuning knowlege or has feedback plz hit me up.
Found the problem! Wrong MAF sensor - was using the stock gts maf. Thanks to Dr. Tweak I found the problem, and a 89-91 Camry maf fixed it! It's running great now and getting im test now. I think it still needs plug wires so i'm looking for a killer deal on a set if anyone has one or knows a good source. More pics, video, and project breakdown otw soon.
