I've had my sr5 for a lil over 40k and never ever had a problem. It's been from NY to PA like 8 times (4.5 hr trip) and deals with new York traffic and pothole ridden roads every day with no problems. I find the sr5 sets horribly uncomfortable and it's real low to the ground which is a pain gettin in and out with a bad back. But besides that this car is the best 700$ I ever spent.

Nice! It must be a good feeling to get some confidence in your car. I drove 2400 miles in one month (DC to Minnesota to Knoxville and then back to DC) and the corolla did just fine on an engine with 110k miles. Just make sure that your oil is changed and NEVER gets low. If you keep your oil level up the engine will last you darn near forever.

It's nice to know I can trust it. Someday I may drive it back to Buffalo.

In April, Im driving from Vancouver,BC Canada to San Francisco. In the AE92 GTS. See how that holds up.
Its got 226,000 kms, dont know what that is in miles. But it should be fun..
17 hour drive non-stop. Lets see how it runs.

That's about 140500 miles.

I have about 247000 miles (est 397500 km) original 4AF, been through 3 carbs by itself though. Furthest I have ever driven it is from DC to Richmond non-stop before it struck the 200k mile mark.

Yeah I live in Kent, WA and I've driven all the way to Portland and back just checking out the skate parks along the way, even on a hot day, and the damn thing just stays cool and keeps on going, idles perfect at every stop, and cruises down the road nice and smooth. God I love Toyotas. :-p
