Anyone know where I can find or have a 89 Corolla or a bit earlier, power door lock switch to sell? I'm looking for the flat panel st,yle one that is a stand alone switch and not the cluster on the arm rest style.
I posted this in the WTB section but haven't got any bites, Ren delete if need be.
In that case, I may find a good LE-model. Plenty of 4drs. I'll have to see Wednesday.
Thanks! If you also find a drivers side 4 button master power switch in grey or black, flat panel style, I'll take it as well. Otherwise I'm just going to paint the one I have.

Funny thing is that I have that and one of the single ones. I have plans of putting power windows in my sedan, at least the front two windows.

I guess I'm not the only one doing this. I've already put the power windows and door lock front and back in but I'm missing a door lock switch for the front passenger side. The master power window switch, and single power door lock I have on the drivers door is blue and not the grey or black I'd like but I had a hard enough time finding the one I got so I migth just paint it the right color. Seems like power anything on corollas in Canada is pretty rare, atleast around here.
BTW the rear power window regulators from a 94/95 corolla sedan are a direct fit/bolt in for the rear on the AE92 sedan. In the front they went to a cable design in 94/95. I had a easier time finding 94/95 corollas with power stuff then any ae92s.
You're in luck! I found a single LE equipped with the power windows, side mirrors and locks
I got the door lock switch. However, it's burgundy. The place charged me $6.60 for it. If you want it...
Hehe, I also grabbed the rare center front armrest cover I so long looked for The car was clean on the inside when I got there. I experimented on it to see how the dashboard comes off, SUCCESS!

So you guys are installing power locks & windows to a DLX sedan? Man, I would love to have poer windows at least in my 90. Are the regulators the same or do you need the motor and regulator?

The power regulators are different then the manual if that's what you are asking. "Dorman products" make aftermarket power regulators and motors that are the same as factory (www.rockauto.com) or ebay. Wiring them up is the hardest part, I tracked down all the factory wiring, breakers, relays, and switches for mine just to stay factory. In the end I'd say just custom wire it yourself and it would be much easier then what the factory did.
I need to figure out just how to half ass wire the front two windows. I was thinking off adding in a positive wire from the battery to power the shit, or maybe the actual wire it factory-ly comes from. Same with the mirrors.
hey red, I'll actually go tomorrow to ship the switch out to you. I didn't have time today.
