haha, darn... I didn't realize the GT-Z rack would be RHD because I'm a dummy :-P

I still might want it though, I imagine I might be able to swap the gears into a LHD rack in reverse maybe?

That was why I wasn't going to use it.

Don't think it's possible to convert it though...the section with the pistons is on the wrong side of the rack and is going to be in the way when you would try to convert it...I think

gt-s ps rack is about quickest steering ratio in usdm ae92 models but sedan power steering and sr5 power steering is probably the same, I hate the no feel steering so I will be converting my rack to manual, basically packing it with grease, removing some restrictions and sealing power steering holes

besides i don't want to go buying and spending money to check racks from other cars

Well so far, I think most of the AE92 steering racks are acounted for:
  • AE92 SR5 manual rack: not posted yet
  • AE92 GT-S manual rack: 4 turns lock-to-lock
  • AE92 SR5 P/S rack: 3.4 turns lock-to-lock
  • AE92 GT-S P/S rack: 3,25 turns lock-to-lock
  • AE92 GT-Z P/S rack: 2.5 turns lock-to-lock
Might be nice to save this topic for future reference?

I imagine the GT-S and SR5 power racks are probably the same. They're kind of hard to measure accurately.
