gts power window regulator problem

When i try to roll the window up it does not go up all the way but leaves like an inch open, i took it apart and found that a couple of the teeth on it got grinded down and dont hold anymore, is there a way to fix this or do i just have to replace the whole thing?

If you're good with a mig or tig welder and a grinder then you could fix it, if you don't have access to these then it's probably easier to buy an aftermarket regulator. www.rockauto.com Part # 821103CR new motor and regulator for $55.

I did have a regulator from an early 90s 4-runner without the little vent windows and a GTS regulator out at the same time. They appeared to be the same aside from a different connector. So if you are looking in a junkyard, that could be an alternative.
