Canada brake problem

I noticed that my brakes won't release properly :p

When I press on the brakes, and release it, the car doesn't move slowly as it should if it's on drive..

I don't know if the cold weather has anything to do with it..it probably does..

If you have any suggestions on fixing this problem pls post it

Unbolt the front calipers and remove the two metal sleeves in each caliper. Sand them a bit with a high grit sand paper to clean them and grease them. If the calipers are not able to slide, the pads can't back off to clear the rotor. They should move freely with little effort.

If the issue persist, it could be the caliper piston seizing or piston seal worn. Just replace the entire caliper if that.

Some times, cold weather can amplify any problem.

If your brake fluid is dark, flush the system out with fresh fluid.

Over time, brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air, and becomes like a jell.
The jell usually starts forming in the calipers, pistons and the proportioning valve.

Check the rear brakes to make sure the emergency brake isn't hanging up. Jack up each rear tire and verify they turn freely.
