fuel pump problem?

Hi everybody,

this is my first post here and I hope you could help me, my Corolla 1990/1295/XLI/55Kw I think the type of engine is 2E-E(somewhere EE90),engines work in two regimes LPG/fuel,ussualy I drove on LPG and this maked problem with fuel, my fuel pump stopped before couple days(I suppose) because I don’t heard sound of pump when start engine also I checked line after fuel filter and fuel don’t coming from fuel tank, removing rear seat I found pump wires, tension was good about 12v when I start engine, my conclusion is: Pump is does not work and my questions is:

-Fuel pump work in both regimes?, Could I remove fuel pump without removing fuel tank and are somewhere I could see how I can do it(some manual or pictures), are this simple?

Ok, thanks everybody in advance.

Happy New Year.

Because you have LPG setup this makes for a tough one.
LPG is pressurized, so does not need a pump.
Ask a shop that does conversions.

Be careful.

Oh, I forget, Happy New Year all and thanks for you quick respond but I think you don’t understand me (maybe my English is not so good), LPG works fine, problem is when I changing fuel instead LPG I wont to using gas (those systems is completely separate), gas don’t arrived from tank, my main question is how I could see fuel pump? If only way to remove fuel tank question is how remove fuel tank?

I'm not sure but the procedure may be the same as EFI engines. You would have to remove the fuel from the fuel tank, disconnect all necessary lines and wires, and drop the fuel tank to access the fuel pump.

Under the car where the fuel tank is, the tank is held in place by two metal straps. Remove those and any hoses and wires that needs to be disconnected and the fuel tank should easily come down.

I can provide the single page they provide in the manual if you want, but it is for the EFI so I'm not sure if it's the exactly the same.
