I have thought about this swap.
I have a SuperStrut susspension under my Carina E GTi. And I think it's just as the name implies: Super! You can really notice the better handling and such.
A friend of mine even had the AE101 SS susspension ready and compared it to the AE92 susspension.
But sadly it's not a straight bolt on job.
You are going to need the complete subframe aswell and the bolt holes don't match up the the AE92 chassis.
You might be able to make it work but it's going to need some modifications. And you need to be very thorough doing that or else you might fuck up the geometry of the wheels.
And be advised that the SuperStrut has one weakness: It wears out relativly quick because it has so much pivot points and bushings. And it's pretty $$$$!
But you wrote you want to use a SS susspension because you want to lower the car? The SS isn't that much lower than stock. Just fitting other springs will be much easier and I suspect a lot cheaper to.
The SS is pretty rare and they are not really giving them away if you are able to source one
