Gen6 Any other AE92 wagon owners out there?

I've searched high and low here in TN to find other AE92 station wagon owners...yet to no avail. I Just want to see what others are doing or have done to theirs. If you have got any photos or could link me to some that would be cool.

Anyways I have pics of mine to show!

A clean wagon is a happy wagon!

Sitting a bit high, will drop 2" when I have the time.

A simple sports muffler with a dumpy tip, forgot the brand but it was on my dads old AE86 corolla GT

My rims with new rubber slapped on it!

My dash freshly oiled and free from cracks!

Pretty mint interior for what was a work horse

And the mandatory engine bay shots. Nothing really special just a ramflo

Lookin' good man. Will look even better when it's dropped. You'd think with the thousands of them on the roads here in New Zealand that there would be at least one other Kiwi owner on here, lol. I'm sure someone will spring up eventually. What part of NZ are you from anyway?

Haha, know what you mean. Most of the people I see driving Corollas like mine are either old ladies or Polynesians with the whole family crammed in the back (no offence intended to any old ladies or Polynesians out there). The strange thing is that I never see them at pick a part (which is probably a good thing as it shows how reliable they are, lol). Cheers for the compliment by the way. You can find me on CarDomain by looking up boostedcordia.

I'm not too far from you. I live in Manukau. If we get enough Kiwis together we could have a Corolla car meet one day. Might have to get some ToyotaNation.com stickers made up to spread the word .

I knew that driveway looked familiar!! Yeah I'm the guy who bought the Jamex springs off you on TradeMe! . The springs fitted in mint by the way. So yeah I have met you before, should've clicked when you said you live in Mt Wellington, haha.

Small world eh?

By the way, I just noticed that I accidentally gave you the wrong CarDomain name in the last post. Should have been boosted_cordia.

Cheers . Glad you were able to find it on CarDomain. I've still been trying to find other places around Auckland to take photos of my car, but don't want to bore everyone by posting them, haha.

Nope, no Silvertop yet unfortunately, lol. I ended up just chucking a 60,000km 5A-FE in instead as I really needed the car around Christmas time and was pretty strapped for cash. I'm sure we'll both get there eventually (hopefully the fuel price would have come down by then but I doubt it). Good idea with the Weber, should give you a bit of grunt in the meantime. You're quite lucky to have a station wagon, I've been thinking about buying one as a second car so I can go away on holiday and sleep in it (the sedan is a little cramped, lol).

If you ever see me driving around Auckland, give me a yell (well, a toot) .

I know I may seem cliche, but try taking photos around the industrial areas specially around east tamaki near the highbrook off ramp. I bet your car will look good around there at night.

Yea being a uni student doesn't help my car fund. Hahaha but yea its a bit hard to find a good weber on trademe let alone a cheap and decent 4age. Good score on the engine tho mate! But yea it's actually quite hard to find decent corolla wagons like mine on trademe too, tho did you manage to see the 500hp sleeper corolla wagon on trademe??? asking price was close to NZ$8000

And yea if I do see you around Auckland you just might see wagon pull up right next to ya for a race

Oh yeah, I'll have to try that place out sometime! Would probably take someone else along with me though in case there are any unsavory types lurking around, haha. The photos I took with the bombings on the wall is in Manukau, next to the Chipmunks play centre, opposite the back of Lighting Plus.

Yeah those Corolla wagons like yours certainly hold their value. There was a mint 4A-GE Blacktop engine for about $1000 on TradeMe a little while ago that I was going to get, but really couldn't be bothered stuffing around with the wiring loom (especially when I found out how much places would charge to do the swap). I think I remember seeing the 500hp sleeper wagon on TradeMe, that thing would be a beast to drive.

Haha, a race between our cars would be interesting. 5A-FE vs 4A-F, would definitely have to chuck a video on YouTube. Look up 'toyota corolla full redline' on YouTube to see a clip of my old engine before the swap. I shall look forward to our battle

Yea gimme a holla if you are gonna head east tamaki ways would be keen to watch the shoot/race ya .

Im a hold on to my dear wagon, cause I reckon these will be gold in the next couple of years :P! But yea getting the engine is one thing, then sorting the loom is another, plus finding places to do the swap! It's especially hard when the cars a daily driver and you need it running asap.

But yea as for the race I'll get my ass handed to me . Yea I saw that vid, very noice! hahaha neighbours would of been up in arms with that sound.

Oh ok sweet, yeah I remember you mentioning someone else with a Corolla. We'll all have to meet up at Musick Point sometime and take some shots. There was a moderator on here selling Toyota Nation stickers but I'm not sure if he has any left. Plus, by the time you pay for postage to get them sent to New Zealand, you might as well get them custom made to your liking. I'll have to ring some sticker shops, although they'll probably have a minimum order of around 150 or something, lol. My leg injury is slowly starting to heal, actually managed to go for a drive today (wasn't my clutch leg that I injured thankfully). We'll have to sort something out when this weather stabilises itself a bit.

I've looked into buying a wagon before. I wish I had, trying to haul bass amps in my celica isn't much fun. The only other real wagon I've seen around on here was kso_888's who I haven't seen around in quite some time. So this is his car:

oh there was awheet too lol
