If you just want brighter lights, I think you will be very happy with Sylvania Silver Stars. They cost about $40 for a pair.
I really doubt that there are projector lights available for the AE92, being that it is a 20 year old model.

Modification: Changing something to what you thought it should have been from the start!
Sylvania Silverstar stock replacements (like Donald recommended above)
or Hella makes some housings that you can put H4 bulbs (I think) into, and they're supposed to be pretty good.
I wouldn't bother with anything you find on ebay except for the Hella ones, I've heard nothing but bad things.

Maybe go HID? I'm planning on those, they're $100 a kit I think. 6000k or 8000k...
Or the Silverstars like everyone above said. Up to $40, they're pretty good when I had them with the OEM headlights. They do lose their initial brightness about 4+ months after.
Yeah I got the Sylvania Silverstars as well, I like them. Pretty nice white, bright. I've also thought about getting those H4 headlamp things too, maybe get some HID's. Just future stuff. :p

The ones I put in my Camry hadn't lost any of their briliance when I sold the car after having them in for about 8 years. Check your grounds.
As for the HID, my son bought a set off E-Bay, and in fine print on the box it said "H.I.D........Happy In Driving".
They were just Halogen H-4 bulbs in fancy housings.
So, beware.
He bought another set a few years later and they burnt the lense of the housing that they came with. The seller sent him a set of replacement housings that haven't burnt through yet. These are real HID, I think, but for the price, I prefer my Silver Stars.

I have some Xenon Whites in there. They are pretty good. But i still prefer brighter lights. I had some of the Silver Stars in my tacoma, and they were a tad bit brighter than the stock headlights but i wasn't too impressed. If they do make an HID conversion kit for my car, where can i find one?
Any HID conversion will be custom. Most people use H4 housings retrofit a HID kit. It won't have an actual projector and the problem with this is the H4 housings aren't designed for HID dispersion and will look poor.
Your best bet is to get decent H4 housings (I recommend Autopal as the best bang-for-the buck), good bulbs, and run a relay for the headlight wiring. That will give you brighter lights and save you money in the future because you won't have to keep replacing the whole headlight assembly when a bulb goes out.
