Shocks reccomendations: 89 stick wagon - stock

Greetings:

1- The shocks are going boing boing boing. What are you guys using and why (looking for functional improvement)? I am looking at keeping the fuel consumption low and upsizing the rims avoiding increased tire footprint. The motor is going to stay stock.

2- Also, will the Acura rim 4 bolt pattern fit this?

I believe Hondas & Acuras are both 4x100, and so are Toyotas. All I know is my del Sol's 14" stock rim fit perfectly on my wagon, except they're not hub-centric on the Toyota as they are on the Honda.

They'll fit if they're 4x100, but be sure to check the offset.

A good standby for strut replacements are KYBs. their affordable, and readily available.

As for honda/acura wheels, they do fit, but often times the offset is too high. they sit too far in towards the center of the car. For sometime I was using a set of LS meshes on my sedan that I bought from a friend for a steal. The wheels fit up front fine, however in the rear with the 195/60/15s they had, they touched the strut housing. A spacer will be needed depending on the size of the tire.
