hey guys, today i finished putting in my rebuilt 3speed trans and i ran into some trouble. i topped off the fluids and took it for a test drive but it took forever just to shift into second gear maybe like at 30mph it would finally shift. sometimes when i would reach a stop sign it the transmission woulnt downshift to first. i realized that it was a little low on tranny fluid when i checked it and added some, things got alittle better but no luck. any advice?

p.s the transmission shifter cable is set in the middle at the throttle body

Simply adjust that cable. I used to have that before, shifts at wrong times.

Not really, it's been almost 1yr 11months since I've swapped to 5spd.

I can send you a PM you the single page of the FSM for adjusting it.

PM sent. Hope it's readable for you. Really, just adjust it little by little and test drive in between until it feels ok for you. Now if you want it to shift at the factory alotted times, I think those shift specs are in the owners manual.
