FINALLY the time has come!! I am looking for a AE92 Coupe (2-door) for my project car.

It will not be registered, plated, or driven on the street. TRACK ONLY!

I will be doing a 4AGZE swap, so the engine can be crap. I just want a decent body (little or no rust) and thats it. I do NOT care about alloy rims, body kits, stereo, or "custom" upgrades. I just want to start at zero and build it myself and with my race-team.

I am looking to spend MAX $500. Preferably not a red car.

So if this sounds like your car, or parts car, or friends car, let me know. Willing to negotiate since I won't need 25% of the parts that are on or in the car.

REN do you still have yours to get rid of?

I am in Hamilton so I will also need to negotiate a method of getting the car home ($$, gas, etc).

wish I could help you out but the only shells I have left are full of rust. Its going to be hard to find one in saveable condition. the only one I can think of right now is this one, have not seen this car in person though. I could possibly help in getting a car back here if you find something depending on whats going on at the time.

yeah, but not for $500.

too nice for a track car interior wise, maybe good for a daily driver/summer car though.

Ya I saw this one, kinda what I'm thinking about. There are 1 or 2 others in my price range I have found ads for.

4doorGTS - You're on the mountain right? How bad rust wise are the shells? if its body panels or anything I can pay to replace, then it's fine. But if its rusted chassis then its no good.

I may end up replacing the body panels with fiberglass so all I need is the chassis.

4doorGTS: I forgot about the racing question. I plan on my focus being Time Attack, but also will be doing drag racing.

My goal is to have the car in the beginning stages to enter in the last 2 or 3 CSCS competitions in both Drag and Time Attack(primarily to help get more CSCS team points for the 2010 season). With the intention of having the car 60-70% done for CSCS season opening 2011.

I intend on running a AE92 4AGZE with water methanol injection, and track ready (suspension, gutted, etc).

The goal is to get consistent 200+hp and 175+tq to the wheels and weigh 2000 lbs.

Already saw that ad. I've seen every Ad on kijiji, craigslist, and autotrader.

So far I'm likely getting a 1990 sr5 manual red, 290k+, for $500.

I was just hoping that maybe someone had come across a shell/parts car over the last few months.

there was a guy selling two of them this way... for cheap, one was a parts car, ad was on kijiji but it's gone I think.
