4AF to 4AGE 20V Silvertop:
Need:
1. 4AGE 20V Silvertop motor
2.Complete, Uncut Wiring Harness (send the 20v and your 4AF's uncut wiring harness to Dr. Tweak of phoenixtuning.com to make a plug-n-play harness)
3. 20V ST/BT ECU
4. Fuel lines, fuel pump, and maybe the gas tank from EFI AE92
5. Time/ Patience.
6. Money.
There's sufficient websites that have information about the 4AGE 20V swaps as well as topics in this forum, and other compatible engines such as the 4AGZE, 3SGTE, 7AFE, and hybrid combinations of.

Just search.
Why can't you use the same fuel lines, pump, and gas tank from a ae92 if switching to a silvertop?
Does the wiring harness not fit with whats on the ae92?

He's upgrading form a carbureted 4AF, the fuel system is totally different.
and no, the harness does not hook up to everything on the interior and the head lights and stuff.

thats not such an issue with all the ae92s. That really only applies to the carbed 4AFs. They do not have a baffled tank (which is not a huge issue but still), different lines and no fuel pump on the tank.
could I pull a tank from a junk yard car with pump still on and just clean it out or would be be a smarter move to just buy from dealer or vender a new tank/pump are the lines an abslout must swap or could I get away with just the tank/pump switch out. I dont want to half ask it but I also dont want to do things are a needed thing esp sense the wiring plug n play from Dr. tweak is going to run me $400+ do I also need to replace the cat on back or can I hook it up to the down pipes from the 20v. will the speedo cable thats on my car now work with the 20v tranny or even better can I bolt my 4af tranny up to the 20v block I hear somwere that th3 4a engine family has a direct fit for the trannies
And once I start this swap I will document it and post the photos for all to see my progress
I'm pretty sure you HAVE to switch the fuel lines since the pressure difference between a carburated fuel system and a fuel injected system is pretty big.

you don't have to use the stock fuel line though, you can use -AN line or something. I currently have a long EFI rated hose running to the tank all the way to the front, but I wouldn't really recommend that.
the tank and stuff from the dealer is going to be expensive. I would get everything from a junkyard and if you can't find a nice tank buy a new one from rockauto for $175. it won't come with the fuel pump assembly and fuel pump you'll need though.
you also need a new fuel filter. the stock one uses banjo bolts, so you can't use that unless you're using stock lines.
your current transmission will fit, but I recommend using the silvertop one. it's better geared for the silvertop. you can use the cable speedo, just take the sensor out of the trans, and put the cable driven one in the same hole. it bolts right up. you can also use the same mounts and axles in the ST trans.
you don't have to replace the cat back, but the ST header probably won't bolt up to your cat. you'll have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them mate them up.
you'll also have to patch into the cruise control computer plug for the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) or the ST will run in limp mode and won't rev as high, dr. tweak will give you a stray wire for this probably.
also, if you're planning on using power steering lines, you'll need the lines out of a GT-S because the PS pump is on the other side of the engine.
95% of this is all covered in my thread above, I suggest you read it.

I have read it a bit Im still doing all my home work on this swap which I wont start for another 4-7 weeks but I do thank you and every1 else for all the help for the exhaust I plan on if I can find it, opening up the pipes to a full 3"s and putting a Y pipe on the resonator and custom making a duel outlet cat back system. it will look a whole lot better then the massive fart can thats there now.....

Running any STREET Corolla ever made with a 3" exhaust system will be useless. Even track ready Corolla's don't use 3" systems. If your exhaust doesnt have enough back pressure then you will ACTUALLY decrease your power. No need for anything bigger than 2.5" unless you are running atleast 2 of the following: FI engine, water/meth injection, nitrous, 4AGE Atlantic
No offense, but I would suggest searching through all of these sites for info before you even start planning your project, or it will likely not get finished or will cost you 3 or 4 TIMES MORE money than you thought. It just seems like you have more ambition than know how.
These sites will help you figure out whether this swap is for you.
Just my 2 cents worth,
Frozen
