89' Corolla on 17" Lexani's

Hello,
Im in the need of some assistance I have a 1989 corolla and I just got some 17 inch lexani rims with tires for it. I put the front two on with spacers and it had enough room to turn and everything it went on perfect. Then I put the back two tires on with spacers. The right side/passenger side went on fine it fit perfectly but then the drivers side/left side of the car the rim would do a rotation and hit the strut every time. So then I thought maby the rim was bent so I switched the two rear sides and I had the same problem so it isnt my rims. It wasnt a constant grinding it was more of the rim would hit only at a certain time every rotation. What could be wrong with my corolla that would make just that one side hit like that ?

Maybe the hub itself is bent a little or something like that.

Try cleaning the mating surface of the hub with a wire brush to see if that helps.
