Lmao yeah I was thinking the 3MZ-FE was the fuel injected V6. I was like wtf? And it has no balls? haha. You can also go look under your hood at the sticker. It's probably a 4A-F, or 4A-FE.
So that means that you should have the 105bhp 4A-FE in that car.
There are not much specific after market parts for that engine and without swapping it out for another engine you could try what a few others on this forum have done: Turbo it.
Other than that, there is not much power to be gained without spending some big $$$.

If you got a 1990 sr5 then you most likely have a 4af engine unless someone swapped it out. Go look at the engine id on the vin plate and you will know exactly what you have.
As for power increase there isnt much you can do to the 4af, i would suggest a good service, intake filter, plugs, oil, oil filter , plug wires, etc. After that may be an exhaust but to be honest you wont gain much power with any bolt on with the 4af unless you consider a turbo a bolt on. My advice is save your cash and do a 4age or 4ag carb swap if you dont want to do the efi conversion.

everyone has a mustang. all that they are is noise, they are slow.
o also there is a big power/wieght ration difference for the little corollas compared to a 3500- 4k pound mustang isnt there??????????
They might be a lot heavier but being able to cheaply build, turbo, or SC a 5L or 5.8L V8 is kind of nice, not to mention parts exsist everywhere. Yes I own one but like many of you I like the challenge of building something like a turbo'd toy. Heck I like building more then driving, it all depends on where your interest lies and where you want the money to go.
