AE92 Transmission woes :o(

Hi

Had a previous thread about the clutch being nosiy, but now I have a whole new set of problems. Left the car sitting for a couple of days, then when I started it, it wouldn't move. Clutch was going to the bottom, but not really doing anything. Since the clutch was so limp, I replaced the slave and master clutch cylinder. Got the car put back together (btw, that master cylinder is a royal pain in the butt, but that is a rant for another day). Bled the lines, and once the car starts...... I can't shift into any of the forward gears. At all. Only gear that I can shift into is reverse, and once I shift into it, the car starts moving, even if the clutch is pushed in all the way. As far as the forward gears, if I push the shifter in (as far as it will go), the car will very slowly move forward. If the car is turned off, I can shift into any gear without the clutch.

Anyone have any idea what I need to look for? I mean, I thought I might need to do a better job bleeding the lines, but I doubt a little air would have this weird effect. I'd hate to take it to the shop, but this might be my only option. Hopefully I can get some ideas here.

Thanks!!

It could be your clutch friction plate and/or pressure plate. But before those, check the cables for any looseness.

Bleed your lines a little better and double check the line connections. Your clutch just isn't working.
