I found some small access panels at the back of my wagon today, about the size of a small palm. Located on both wheel wells, close to the floor of the wagon.
Inside is a grease nipple (zerk/fitting whatever)!
I had no idea cars had grease nipples, I've only seen them on heavy machinery, lathes, dirt movers, etc.
What type of grease should I pump down there, and what exactly am I greasing? =D

Thats not a grease nipple, thats an bleeding screw, such as you'd have in your brakes. Possibly its for the load sensing valve that adjusts the rear brakes to compensate for added weight. (Just a guess), but whatever, dont go squeezing any vaseline in there.
Yea, that's a bleeder valve. You couldn't possibly squeeze anything in there anyways unless you loosened the valve. Grease fittings are like a ballpoint pen, kinda, except the ball is spring loaded per se.
Ahhhh yeah bleeder valve! I should have realized by the fact that the bolts have fresh thread tape on them, and I just had brake work done about a month ago.
Anyway, I won't go putting any vaseline down the hole. (I was looking forward to it too) =\

Its kinda hard to see in the pics, but theres new thread tape all over the thread on the hex nuts. It shows up in the pic as a white blur below the head of the nut. It looks to be on there quite thick for thread tape too... Thats not cool.
I'll give my mechanic a call...Thanks for the heads up!

I didnt take a look where the teflon tape was, but for future reference; brake lines, hoses, bolts, bleeder screws, never ever put any thread tape, thread locker etc in them. Brake lines are made to seal without any of them, maybe the occasional copper O-ring. Reason is that that way its 100% sure that none of the tape/sealer get into the brake lines as worst case scenario is that something gets cloggd and also impurities in the system are unwanted.
