So I was working on my rear disc brake swap last night, and I went to swap the brake line from the drum brake line to my new stainless steel GT-S brake line (goodridge) and for some reason the hard line on the body will not screw into it...
does anyone know if it's a different size on GT-Ss? I sat there for like 15 minutes trying to screw it in and it wouldn't go in, and then I screwed it into the rubber drum line again no problem...
so my question is, is it a faulty brake line? or are they supposed to be different sizes? I'm guessing the brake line...

I've swapped three sedan's and one sr5 to disc and never had an issue with them. On my current sedan I'm using the Russell kit for ae86/ae92 with no problems. Check the first threads of each end mayby they rounded off a bit.

Do they not fit at all or do they start to tighten like for ½ turn and then get stuck? Could be a bad batch if thats the case. Corollas use IIRC TX-fitting threads on the brake lines.

I just tried again. they don't tighten at all, it just spins, but it looks like it's the same size if I look at both of them.
after I tried for another like 5 minutes I screwed it back into the stock lines pretty easily again....
is anyone running goodridge lines?
