Gen6 Please Help

Please does anybody now whats going on with my 1989 toyota corolla SR5, I just replaced my head gasket and the head due to my car started smoking white smoke and it smelled like antifreeze so had a spare car just for part to fix mine and basically replace everything from exhuast gasket manifold and intake everything brand new put it back timing belt but exhuast pipe keeps smoking and it still smells like antifreeze and it idle like hell at 3000rpm. and to let you now everything is brand new from spark plugs distributor cap everything. Don't now what to do next[/B]

Well if the head and gasket were replaced right and the head is not cracked then you might have a cracked block although I've never heard of this happening on these motors unless they've been really beat on.

On a side note your O2 sensor is probaby toast and should be replaced once the rest is sorted out.

...what about something being warped or the head was not torqued down correctly.

I torqued the head acording to what the manual said so I don,t believe that the problem.
