Wow, I just noticed a ton of those Coupes dont have flip up headlights? I thought all 88-92 AE92 coupes had flip up lights? Or did all those people do some kind of conversion? ???

My brother used to have one exactly like in the photos above (the ones with no pop up lights).
As far as I know, they weren't available in the American market, only the Japanese market. His one had a factory 4A-GE engine (not the 4A-GZE unfortunately) but still went extremely well. Pretty sure he's still got some photos of it somewhere.

I have those Levin headlights for sale... Don't have the grille or side markers, tho. I bought them to put on my sedan but..... it needed mods to fit.... and aslo, I turned the other cheek and now have a wagon-face lights/ grille set.
Been trying to get rid of them, $100, no buyers. Integrated fogs, wire/bulb connectors, no damage. If they don't go, I may keep them as a keepsake for their rarity and "covetability".
yeah the non pop up light models are called the levins, I have one, originally had a 4age then i converted it to a 4agze now its a 4agte. A couple pics of mine when 1st got it
and turbo conversion still in progress

Just to let you know.
The Toyota models sold in the USA are just a fraction of what they sell in the rest of the world.
Actually that goes for all manufacturers, even Chevrolet.
You should see some of the Chevrolets sold in Venezuela.

Createdtoburn, you've been here how long and never seen or heard the word LEVIN or LEVIN FRONT thrown around?
Haha nah I've heard of Levin's like a million times, I figured it was just the Japanese version, but I never knew that they had those headlights. Maybe I just never really noticed until now somehow. haha. But ok makes more sense!

because I like to vacation in Jamaica.... I actually found out why.
apparently similar to how everyone wants to import "low mileage" engines from Japan into the US.... there were contracts between the Japanese and Carribbean governments -- instead of sending over new cars they actually were sending these lower mileage JDM cars to them that no longer met the regulations to be on the road in Japan.
and I've said it before.... in Jamaica... about 80% of the cars are corolla's and their variants.
