Just got my car back...

My 1990 gts was making some werd clanking noise so i took it
to my family mechanic and he said one of my con rods broke
luckily it didnt shoot out the block
just scratched the inside of the cylinders
anywho, got my car back and wow!!
i figured since i the engine was getting fixed i might as well
have him take a look other things

heres a list of things i had done:

new belts
new gaskets and seals
new pistons and rods
renewed cylinders
milled head
new bearings
new oil pump
new oil lines
new grommets
New clutch
new clutch bearing
changed transmission fluid
refaced flywheel
cleaned and checked radiator
new radiator hoses
new fuel filter
new air filter
new distributor and rotor (wires inside were tangled)
new spark plug cables
new spark plugs
new water pump
refaced brake rotors
new brake pads
brake fluid flush

the best part is, the guy only charged me $1950
so i gave him $2000(he was only charging me $350 in labor and i felt bad)

question is, what else should i take a look at?

Well, I think he took care of most technical things. Have a look at the body of the car.
I guess it isn't such a problem in California, but in other places in the world, the GT-S's are prown to rust behind the side skirts.

With all that, I would've just gone with a motor swap!

Brakes
Steering / Suspension

+1

There are a few things that I pobably would not have changed (like the flywheel) but I pretty much agree.
