The distributor runs off the exhaust camshaft, a timing belt runs that camshaft. It could be a broken timing belt if all your electricals are in working condition, including your spark plugs, plug wires, distributor rotor, etc. The street way to check to see if your timing belt has bit the dust, take the oil filler cap off, have someone crank the engine and observe the cam shaft that is visible through the oil filler. If it's no moving when the engine is trying to be started, your timing belt is gone. If the cam spins, recheck all the eletricals. It's possible something could've been overlooked.

(if the engine starts while you are observing the camshaft with the oil cap off, be sure your helper immediately turns off the engine. It can spew oil if it starts)

forgot to add, i would pull your plugs and see for yourself and if you havent checked them and have no sparke to the plugs then i would suspect bad plug wire.. i didnt see that you had checked that part from your post so maybe thats the problem worth a shot to check out

I did a tune up on the car 2 days before it quit running. I replaced plugs, wire, cap, rotor and oil change. tomorrow i will start over and check all my powers and grounds and signal wires. I will also check the signal wires for the pick up coils at the ECM. I will inspect coil primary and secondary resistance fuses. A part store told me it could be a air flow sensor but i don't have one on the 4AFE motor just a baro pressure sensor should i check that to?

ya even if it was an afm problem i believe it would still start but as soon as you gave it gas it would die but thats not your case.
idk maybe it is a defective cap, i have had a brand new one that has been defective before

I checked for codes and found a 31 vacuum sensor code. would that stop my veh from starting? a friend told me to check for injector pulse. if there is no spark and fuel then the ecm is not getting a crank signal so both wont work. i do smell fuel. i checked and in have good wiring

How do you know you have no spark?

The 'vaccum sensor' would wildly change the fuel delivered, this could cause a no-start issue. Check its' wiring and try replacing with a known good.
