ok i got these rims from a friend its 16x8 +35 offset the tires r all diff and need to buy new one, my question is wat tire size should i get to get them fit my sedan rite now all of them have 195/50/16 and the suspension i got on is D2s full coilovers thanks
Test fit them first to see how the current tire size matches up. Check front and rear. Are the tire sizes staggered? As in two are bigger (width or side wall height)? For tire size, I'd go 215 width at minimum, 40-45 sidewall.
16x8 +25 fits with coilovers. It might not clear the rear struts without spacers. 10mm spacers with extended studs will do you well.
i suggest staying at 205/45 or even a 195/45 or 50 series. googling a offset calculator on google will let you know how this compares. my old tire setup with unrolled fenders that rubbed a little was a +15 offset with 7 in wide wheel on 205/50/15. if i was to of rolled the fender it would not have rubbed. the wheels were flush with the fenders.
also carl from ae92gts.com ran a 15x8 with +25mm offset and it was somthing like 5 mm or so from hitting the struts. you might run into this problem. cause i think that +35mm offset might cause it to touch the strut and not allow the wheel to bolt up properly.

yea right now i got 15x7 with +38 offset i think, and it rubbed barely on the rear only because i positive chamber it a little and it if i didnt it would rubbed on my coilovers and eat the side of my tires. Quick question also what is the thickest spacer i can fit on my stock studs and do i realy need the center ring for that too? thanks for all the responce guys
H&R makes good qaulity spacers that come with longer wheel studs from 5, 10, 15, 20 and up to25mm. the 25mm one has its own stud. the 25mm version bolts to your existing studs and you bolt the wheel to the spacer. the magic number you want is a +25 or +20 offset for a 8 inch wide wheel. so a 10mm or 15mm spacer is your best bet. its up to you to decide if you wanna go through the work of replacing all your studs just to use these spacers. this will be flush with the outside fender (giving you a really agressive stance) and will be enough to clear your struts. you will need to roll the fenders if you plan on doing motorsports they will most defenatly rub some. i would recommend running at most a 205/50 series. personally myself i would try for a 205/45 or 195/45. reason being is on a 205 i've never had grip problems while cornering. the ae92 is a light car as is. if your not doing motorsports there is no point in running any tires wider that 205 anyways.

compare to yours my rear a lil lower and my fronts are show 1/2 of the tire from the 50 series and im not going for like autocrossin or anything like that, it jus for daily and alil street action here and there. my goals for this car is the blacktop with 6 speed tranny and hella flush style, im tryin to bring the sedan 6th gen out here in florida cuz i dont c none that reppin us right because most of them is "bright with the lights but no go on the light" thanks for the advice i post some pics of my car now without the wheels wen i can

205/40R/16 is what you want for 16in rims. But 8 in is kinda wide for these cars, gonna need spacers. If you put 15's on you should be fine with 205/50R/15 or 195/50R/15. I have 195/50R/15 on my car and no rubbing, no spacers and works just fine. My wheels are 15x7 though, with I think +35 offset.
