Out of curiosity if there has been such 5 lug conversion on an AE92... Maybe getting a spindle from maybe a Civic Type R then drill the rotors/ drums for the correct bolt patterns...
Nope, none that I've heard off... although, we've sorta done it with an AE82 GTi with a 3S-FE swap and it was getting SW20 rear disks put on.. but then the owner had to move and the car got sorta abandoned...
The only possibility I can think of is maybe from a 92-99 Celica ST. They'd be the right size for the axles, 5x100 lug pattern, but I would have no idea of how much would be involved in that. Also 90-91 were still 4 lug so look 92 and up
Do a search, I remember seeing a similar thread not long ago and someone posted the Celica as a donor as well, can't remember which year... 88-89 Celica though uses the same front strut cartridges, so it could be possible they use the same strut assembly.
What are the advantages of 5 lug? Or rather, why do you want to convert? I'm just curious.
Well, for one and primary, there's a 5 lug TOM's 15x7 PCD100s 5x something. for sale by a guy. Rare wheels. Of course, if I can find the 4x100, I'll stay 4 lug.
Secondly, don't see something like that.
Third but may be a given, it'll take 5 nuts to unbolt instead of four incase someone wants to steal my wheels. I plan on having multiple different lock nuts.
Fourth, 5 lugs will need to be broken off instead of four.

Fifth, it's 5 LUGS!
Just had to have the same number of reasons as number of lugs you want didn'tcha.
Yes, but not the STs. Thats what I was talking about, I should probably have clarified. come to think of it, probably a 4th gen celica would have some better potential. I know they share some of the same compnents like springs and struts/strut cartidges. I could always try to cross some numbers at work. Which if anyone ever wants someone to cross a few things, feel free to PM. random but seemed appropriate.
