4 Wheel Discs

okay so i was in the process of converting my sedan to 4 wheel discs and got every thing i need to do the swap except for the parking brake cable and one of the rotors but i can have that ordered from autozone or somewhere

now what i need help with is locating some parking brake cables ive looked and have found nothing

the junk yard is really no help right now they never have anything other than just 4 door corollas except for the last time i went we did actually find a sr5 but that still doesnt help

the car i got all the brake parts off of was a geo prizm gsi if that makes any difference on the cables

i doubt it makes a difference if its a geo its pretty much a toyota mechanically. why dont you try the dealership. however i would just get it for the gsi model since you got it off that and its sedan just like yours. http://www.oehq.com/acdelco-parts_18...GSI%201.6L.htm

what all do you have?

You need the rear lateral links too. Just making sure you have everything, because it took me forever to finally put together everything for my swap.

so the question is are there any other cars with a hub that will bolt on so the discs will fit on?

I believe just the AE92 GTS and AE82 GTS have the hubs and brakes you are looking for. If you do find them again, you should get everything up the links that bolt to the subframe. Grab the parking brake cables too.

Yea, i never remember about the Prizms. An example of an AE82 is a Toyota Corolla FX16 GTS. Google it to see what it looks like. Or you could mozy on over to the "older generations" section of corollas here at TN. Seems the second thread is dedicated to the AE82s.

you need the hub and you also need the rear two lateral links which connect the hub to the subframe. The lateral links should be the same as the front ones from any other corolla. I think the GT-S just uses 4 front ones (which are bigger) and everything else has special rear ones which are smaller...

and yeah, you need e-brake cables too, but you can get them from rockauto.com if you need to.

I found my rear discs (mostly complete except the latery links) on ebay.

you also should probably get a brake proportioning valve too, but it works without one.
