Hose problem HELP

I have a split in my one of my heater hoses. This hose runs from the engine block on the drivers side underneath the exhaust manifold. How or what is the best way to reach this hise as it runs under the manifold etc. I have 1 1990 Toyota Corolla.

Thanks

Vince

Under the exhaust menifold???
Sure it's not under the intake manifold?

The hoses under the intake manifold require sone patience to access.
The first thing to do is remove the intake hose and maybe the air filter box also.
That will give you some access.

Am sure he meant the intake manifold. I replaced all those hoses on my 90 a couple years ago as they were the originals and I didn't want to get stranded on the road. There is more than one in that area under the intake and you have to work by feel as it's a tight area. I had to order them from my dealer and it took some work on his part as they were getting hard to locate at that time.

When I replaced those hoses on my sedan, I just used straight hoses (much cheaper) and some "heater hose plastic elbows" from Advance Auto Parts.

Thanks

Thanks for the responses and yes I did mean the intake manifold. I fixed the problem and removed the air box/hose which freed up a little space. Napa matched a hose 15 bucks and two hose clamps. This was a pain the rear end as it took a couple of hours and hand manipulation to reach. Thanks again everyone!

Glad you got it fixed. I remember replacing all the hoses in that region on mine and it was not a fun job but glad it's done.

Lucky me!
I did those hoses while doing a head gasket.
