Speedometer Sending Unit

1992 Corolla 3sp AT no overdrive- Transmission blew out a hole in the casing. I purchased a low mileage 3sp AT. It has an electric speedometer sending unit.
1)Is there an adapter to connect the mechanical speedometer cable to the electric speedometer sending unit?

2)Will the mechanical speedometer sending unit fit and function in place of the electric sending unit currently installed in the tranny differential?

Thanks for your help.

you should be able to just take out the electric sending unit and replace it with the manual one. That's what I did when I replaced my manual transmission.
