why do you want coilovers? just for adjustable height?
look into ground controls. they're coilovers sleeves you put on stock struts. you'll blow your struts if you go too low though.
for any other coilovers that's pretty much how much they cost, and that's the cheapest ones. JIC coilovers are $2k
Ksport is probably the cheapest ones you'll find.

that'll be the best setup. much better than ksports would be which are probably the same price.
Koni yellows $200 each
ground controls $400 for the set
adds up to $1200 though and he'd still need GT-S strut housings to put them in and camber plates if he wanted them... which the ksports come with

ya exactly so then i would be looking at the same price as the coilovers. whats the difference with the gt-s sturt housings and my sedans?

but they'd be better than any coilovers you can get for that price which is our point...
the GT-S housings are wider which allows you to put the koni inserts in and also a wider strut is better in most cases. the front housings are about 2" instead of 1.5" I forget what the difference with the rears is.

i dont know how long you plan to keep your car. depending on that would determine your choice. k-sports are ok. good coilovers for the price. however what happens when your coilovers blow or age to the point they need a rebuild. i would imagine k-sport as well as most ebay coilovers they have very slow to virtually no customer support after they get your money. i dont wanna up rate koni or anything, but for the money on the streets they are the best bang for the buck as far as performance. they are tried and true, and have support that wont disapear after they get your money. either way its your money

ya it really doesnt matter too much about that its more for slamming it too the ground and im not keeping it too long cause i started a new project. I was given a VQ35DE (350z engine) and am looking for an older rwd rolling chassis. Right now it looks like its going to be a 1972 datsun 510.
If you get K-Sports, make sure you spray them off with a garden hose after driving on roads which have been salted. Mine have started to rust, and we don't get our roads salted very much.

you use them all year round with no problems right? do you like them?

I strongly don't recommend them for a daily driver.
I started off liking them, but fter driving with them for about a year and a half, I took them off and replaced them with Eibach Pro lowering springs with KYB AGXs on the front and KYB GR2s on the back.
Others dissagree with me, but I found them to be too stiff for our rough and wavy North Carolina roads. I felt like a bobble-head going down the express way. I changed the spring rates several times, but could notfind a comfortable setup for the road.
I am planning on going to Koni Yellows with the Eibach springs eventually.
The K-Sports worked great for autocross, and I am actually setting up another car just for autocross and plan to use the K-Sports on that.
We had quite a discussion about the K-Sports. Check out the link below.
It goes off on a tangent a bit but it should help you decide.

they are rough due to the valving. alot of the japanese and generic coilovers are valved with to much compression. this give the car a sporty feel, but it doesnt do so well in the comfort zone nor does imporve perfromance either. i used to have cusco coilovers in my old ae92 and it was a really harsh ride (7kg front 5kg rear). now im running koni ground control combo (5kg front 7kg rear) and to be honest it feels very comfortable as far as coilovers goes. not only this but it seems to take the bumps nicely and corner a whole lot better. good dampers is one of the key parts to having a potentialy fast setup.
since your not keeping the car long it wouldnt be such a bad deal to use k-sports. or for that matter the most cost effective way would be an ebay coilover sleeve kit with some mr2 agx for the fronts and w/e struts you can use in the rear.
