Struts 91' Corolla

Im getting confused about struts. Do you have to buy the struts separate from springs or do they automatically come with them. I see pics of just struts no springs where do I get new springs from?

Struts come without the coil springs.....,
and there are the ones that come with spring and mount
I think the brand is Monroe Quick Struts, I have not used this brand,

but this would be a good choise for DIYer..., reason if you dont know what you are doing, you get your self hurt(or killed) or the car can be damaged....
The coil spring has alot of force........

Oh ok but I can buy new coils too or do they just move them to the new struts?
I was thinking of getiing KYB's. I've used them in the past with my other car.

Springs (or coils) rarely go bad. you should be fine re-using your old ones. They'll just move them over to the new struts.

If you're reasonably mechanically inclined I recommend taking the struts off your car and then taking them to a shop and just having them swap the springs over. it'll be much cheaper than having them do it. I searched around where I am and found someone that would do it for $20 per strut.

KYB GR2s are nice for a stock replacement and have a lifetime warranty.
