Happy 200,000 miles to me

My 18 year old 1992 AE92 rolled over 200,000 last Friday. Just wanted to share the news.

The car's doing lovely. The engine was swapped out 13,000 miles ago.

The left door is starting to go rust-colored on the corner.

The heater core is doing fine. Air conditioning was knocked out by a deer strike several years ago, leading to the removal of the entire A/C system.

Rear springs are sagging badly. Struts and springs are going in for the 4th of July.

Still gets 40mpg highway, 33mpg mixed driving.

It has the CEL light on, and the code that comes back is code 71. EGR System Malfunction. Anyone have a fix? How do I know if it's the valve or the sensor?

dang man what size tires are you running and is it a manual transmission because ive never pulled gas mileage like that i average around 23 city and i pulled 29 once with between 70 or 80 percent highway

and im glad to see your getting new struts i just replaced my rear ones about 2 weeks ago only because i added a sway bar and thats a really easy project me and my friend tackled that one in about an hour and were both 17 and had never done that before

175/70R13 (front and rear), I'm running the manual transmission. Cold tire pressure set to 38psi front and rear. I drive like a granny. I very rarely ever rev my engine above 3500rpm.

Your mpg numbers sound really low, like Jeep 4.0L I-6 low!

Congrats. and his numbers do sound really low. i drove 800 miles on bad rear struts going 75-80 the whole way and i still got 37-38 mpg. my corolla is a 92 with 171k. and btw I have a jeep grand cherokee zj with a I-6 and i get 15 mpg. but that is with a 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires
